Grandpa comes to visit.

My dad came for a visit to see Carter and of course Madilyn. Carter enjoyed Grandpa as much as he could... he was really sick and had to be put on antibiotics. But he loved reading books with Grandpa while I was asleep in the morning. I was sick too so my dad watched him so I could get some sleep.... Thanks Dad!

A walking Carter is a curious Carter is a tired Carter

Now that Carter walks he gets into everything of course..... which doesn't bother me... I find it very entertaining. However he runs around so much he just falls asleep anywhere now days. In the picture on the floor Carter and Pete were wrestling around and he fell asleep in the middle of it! He is so fun to watch. I love him.

Lamberts: House of Throwed Rolls

Pete's parents took Sarah, Caleb, Christin, Pete, Carter, and I to Lamberts House of Throwed Rolls. It is a famous place to eat in Missouri and is known for thier good home cooking and huge drinks. But the main thing they do is cook warm fresh rolls all day long and when they are done if you want one you have to raise your hand and they chuck a roll to you from across the room. I had never seen anything like it before. It was hilarious. We loved the whole experience plus they have good fried oakra and other southern specialties that were very scrumptious.

Carter Catches His Own Roll

I thought this was cute. Carter loves warm rolls and he gobbled two of them at the restaraunt. He also had mashed potatoes and gravy for the first time and whole corn. He loved it. Luckily the corn didn't come out whole in his diaper :) I wondered if it would... crazy what a stay at home mom thinks about!

Carter in Illinois

This is a picture of Carter right before church and right before we cut off his hair. He was starting to get a mullet in the back so we cut his hair. I miss his hair though. He had a blast in Illinois and he loves his Nana and Papa.

Christmas in Illinois

This year we went to Pete's parents in Marion Illinois for Christmas. It was a perfect trip with perfect weather. We always have a great time with Pete's family as they are hilarious. Christmas dinner and all of Donna's food of course is amazing. Carter loved the rolls. And we loved that Carter slept through the night 90% of the trip. That was great.

Oh the places he will go!

Crystal turned the corner to find Carter having fun inside the kitchen drawer! We started laughing our heads off…
