Carter is doing much better:

Today we went for another follow up on Carter's jaundice and he went from 18.5 to 13.7 in one day!!! IT MAKES US PROUD... He also went from 6 pounds 3 ounces to 6 pounds 7 ounces.

Carter's hard day!

We can’t seem to explain this strange phenomenon -- Carter seems to carry a glow about him, we think it's because he is one celestial baby or I guess he could have jaundice. Were hopeful he will only endure this trial for a day or two.

We welcome "with arms wide open" Carter Thomas Watkins

Spending some time with Grandma:

Doing what he does best SLEEPING!

Just trying on one of his new outfits...
What a blessing in our lives. We can't express how happy we are to have Carter arrive safe and sound...

Pictures of the baby room:

Where to start:?:

WOW...Where to start…Crystal and I bought our first home about a year ago in Woods Cross Utah. It’s a 4 bedroom 3 full bath multi dwelling home (at least I think that’s the way real estate people say it.) We haven’t done much to it, but are doing small things here and there. It was built in 1998 so we don’t have much to update. We did add tile to the bathrooms and entry ways and are getting things ready to put down wood floors in the kitchen.
I accepted a new job about 9 months ago as a Business Management Consultant for OutSell Consulting. It has four remote offices New York, San Diego, Long Beach, and Redondo Beach California.
To let you know a little bit about who OutSell Consulting is here is a brief run down. OutSell is a training and consulting company with a laser focus on helping clients build first-class customer service and sales teams. Our ‘True North’ is helping clients provide a world-class customer experience to their clientele. OutSell to me is an execution company. You can have any company come into an organization and put together a thick document telling you what to do. Whereas OutSell works with clients in the training room and on the floor helping execute the activities and behaviors that drive results from Senior Leadership to the front line managers to the representatives on the phone.
We believe communication is a skill. Knowing what to do is not the same as being able to communicate effectively towards high-end clients. Being an effective communicator takes practice, challenging exercises and most importantly a customized customer service communication process that is flexible enough to allow the representative to be able to put their personality into the process.
Our methods transfer top-performer skills and behaviors to the entire team and these methods improve clients’ bottom line…quickly! Our programs lay the cornerstone of the customer service and sales process of many Fortune 50 companies. Our Consultants are deployed around the world working with international and regional companies and have worked with over 200,000 customer service and sales professionals in many capacities including: Developing custom-built training programs for corporate customer service and sales teams, Facilitating customer service and sales trainings, Delivering customer service and providing a sales class entitled Train-the-Trainer
As you can probably see I love this job and the development it has taught me, but could do without all of the travel. I tend to be gone at least three days a week minimum. It’s nice to see how people run their business and be able to not only learn from them, but coach or recommend things they should change to improve their bottom line. Anyway enough about work…
We are expecting our first child (Carter Thomas Watkins) on Feb 9th and are EXSTATIC yet NERVOUS at the same time! Crystal has me working on the baby room like crazy, putting together a crib, changing table, glider and ottoman, painting the walls, hanging boarders (I know I thought woman were better at that too and they probably are), etc. Crystal wants to work all the way up to the day she has the baby, but after will become a stay home mom. She is really nervous to stop working (She feels work is all she knows) and let’s face it she is dang good at what she does. I could be wrong, but I think when the baby comes she will be busier than ever! Well I think that sums it up for today’s post. I am sure more will be coming soon with the arrival of Carter.
